FREE INITIAL ASSESSMENT

45 minutes. Free. One clear next step.

A needs-led conversation for families around autism, ADHD or Moderate Learning Difficulties, at any age, before or after diagnosis.

Many families have spent months bouncing between professionals saying different things. The first call slows everything down. We look at your child as a whole: strengths, struggles, sensory profile, school fit, communication and regulation, against the four broad areas of need in the SEND Code of Practice.

By the end you have a one-page summary, a short signposting pack and a clear answer to "what now?". You don't need a diagnosis to book. You don't need to commit to anything.

This is not a diagnostic assessment.

Autism and ADHD diagnosis in the UK follow NICE pathways (CG128 and NG87) via the NHS or a recognised private route. MLD is identified by an Educational Psychologist alongside the school. This is a needs-led profile, I describe what your child needs and how to get it, wherever you are on the diagnostic journey.

Quick answers

Is it really free? What's the catch?

Yes, genuinely free. 45 minutes, no obligation. Many families take the one-page summary and run with it themselves; others book ongoing work. Both are fine.

Should my child be on the call?

Usually no for the first call. It's parent-led so you can speak freely. If your child wants to wave hello at the end, that's welcome but not required.

What if more than one of my children needs support?

Mention it on the booking form. The first call covers the family, so we can talk about siblings together and decide how to structure any ongoing work.

A note on language: I follow each family's preference, whether that's identity-first ("autistic"), person-first ("has ADHD"), or "moderate learning difficulty" as defined in the SEND Code of Practice. Support is strengths-based across autism, ADHD and MLD.
