ONLINE 1:1 SESSIONS

An hour that fits your week.

Video sessions for children, young people and parents around autism, ADHD and MLD. Anywhere in the UK, any device.

Online doesn't mean less. For many neurodivergent children it means more: no travel, no waiting room, no sensory overload before we've even said hello. Sessions happen in your child's safest place, which is usually where they're most themselves.

Every session is child-led and strengths-first. I work with autistic ways of thinking, ADHD ways of being and MLD-friendly scaffolds, not against them. Parents are part of the work, not the audience.

What a session looks like

Every session follows the same gentle, predictable shape.

01

Arrive

Camera on or off. A familiar object or favourite toy is welcome, and there's no test.

02

Connect

We start where your child is: a special interest, play, a story or a game.

03

Explore

We try one small thing together, a strategy, a script or a regulation tool, and see what fits.

04

Land

We close gently. Parents get a short note: what we did, and what to notice this week.

Four kinds of session

Mix and match across the term. Most families do.

Child 1:1

Direct work with your child. Play-based for younger children, conversation-led for older. Always child-led and strengths-first.

Parent coaching

Just you and me. We work through a situation, build a strategy or draft an email. No child needed in the room.

Joint session

Parent and child together, with me holding the space. Useful for transitions, hard conversations, or modelling a new tool.

School-prep session

Pre- or post-SENCO-meeting strategy session: what to ask, what to push back on, and what to take in writing.

Any connection

Works on broadband, 4G or a hotspot. Sessions are low-bandwidth friendly.

Any device

Laptop, tablet or phone. Headphones optional, camera optional.

Sensory-friendly

Low-arousal backgrounds, no flashing, scripts shared in advance if helpful.

Safe & private

DBS-checked, GDPR-compliant, secure video platform. Anywhere in the UK.

WHO IT'S FOR

  • Children and young people with autism, ADHD or MLD
  • Pre-diagnosis families on a waiting list
  • Parents who want coaching, not a child session
  • Families preparing for a SENCO or EHCP meeting
  • Mainstream, specialist or home-educating settings
  • Anywhere in the UK on video

Quick answers

How long is a session and how often?

Most sessions are 45 minutes for children and 60 for parent-only. Weekly works for most families during a piece of work; fortnightly or monthly check-ins suit families in a steadier season.

What if my child won't sit in front of a screen?

That's fine. Sessions can be audio-only, screen-shared games, walking-and-talking on a phone, or even me reading aloud while your child plays. Child-led means what the child can lead.

Do you work with adults too?

Sometimes, particularly autistic and ADHD parents who want their own space alongside the work we do for their child. Just ask.

A note on language: I follow each family's preference, whether that's identity-first ("autistic"), person-first ("has ADHD"), or "moderate learning difficulty" as defined in the SEND Code of Practice. Support is strengths-based across autism, ADHD and MLD.
